Your teacher, Ria van Rooijen, is an experienced medical specialist in sports medicine and an AVIG-integrative medicine physician. With a background in physiotherapy, she has worked with athletes at various levels, from beginners to top-tier sports, including the Olympics. Ria's extensive career includes roles at organizations such as the KNVB, Defensie, KNSA, and the NOC*NSF.
Her international work experience has provided her with a deep understanding of the challenges faced by those starting a professional life abroad. This makes her uniquely equipped to guide and support healthcare professionals in navigating and integrating into the Dutch healthcare system.
